I feel like I’m long overdue for a life-update.

I love my new apartment. I have my own bedroom and my own bathroom, and the girl with the second bedroom/bathroom is from China, doesn’t speak English, and is never home. When she is home, she’s in her room with the door closed. Fine with me.

My classes are demanding, to say the least. I had my first video project due tonight, I have two quizzes tomorrow, two photo assignments for a digital photo editing class and a photojournalism class due tomorrow, and dance practice… and it’s only the second week of class. I still owe the newspaper three articles, too. I hope this will all be worth the pain when I graduate a semester early in December.

I haven’t even started work at the news station for the semester yet. That starts Monday. I also have an audition to be an anchor on Monday night and saying I’m nervous is an understatement. I’ve auditioned for a hundred things in my life: dance, theater, whatever else, but I am so so nervous for this one.

I’m also killing myself trying to find a summer internship. Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Phoenix (as a last resort). I will take anything at this point. 

I need my hair cut, I have been sick with a cold/cough for two weeks, I’ve given Target half of my savings account, Shabbat (Sabbath) dinner at Rabbi’s house couldn’t come sooner, and I can’t wait to take advantage of being 21 this weekend.

I have to be awake in less than 6 hours.
